A story of new beginnigs

House of April is the brain child of Rosalind Clarey, an Australian hairstylist who has worked all over Australia and Canada in the hairdressing industry for over 15 years. Rosalind has used her knowledge and experience to create a unique haircare experience she knows you and her clients will love!

Rosalind owned a salon in Lake Macquarie, just north of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia and sold it in November 2020 so she could focus on House of April, as well as having a baby and moving down south to Tasmania.

 

During the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020, she felt she had to close her salon doors for at least a month until it was known what everyone was dealing with.

In that month, Rosalinds' brain worked overtime, working out ways that she could use her industry experience to create an online business while trying to navigate through all the other things that come with owning a business during a pandemic.

That month was stressful, that month was eye opening, that month was some serious recharging of the batteries. That month was the month of being housebound and letting the creative juices flow.

That was also the month Rosalind and her partner found out they were expecting their first child.
